I created the motion graphics for the 30-minute special that aired on KHON2 in Hawai'i, highlighting the historic launch of the Moananuiākea voyage from Juneau, Alaska.

It was a whole family affair, supporting my uncles Nainoa Thompson and Bruce Blankenfeld on a leg that my brother Ryan Miyamoto was also on board filming with our other uncle Mike Prickett.

As a passionate activist of ocean stewardship and the perpetuation of indigenous culture, it was such an honor to support my family on the launch of this voyage.
